Get to Know Dr. Rachael Miller

Dr. Miller says that she looks forward to coming to Klein Family Dentistry every day because she knows that she is going to work with an amazing team that genuinely cares about each patient just as much as she does. She loves being in an environment that prioritizes people’s health and comfort at every opportunity, and she can’t wait for you to experience it yourself!

Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Miller wanted to follow in her dad’s footsteps--he and his dental partner have practiced together for over 40 years, and she had an amazing opportunity to work with them. Also, the aspects of science, innovation, and art that make up dentistry really drew her into the field.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Miller earned her dental degree at the Lake Eerie College of Osteopathic Medicine School of Dental Medicine. This was followed by doing her graduate practice residency at York Hospital. Today, she is Invisalign certified and has also received training focused on TMJ treatment and Botox through the Academy of Facial Aesthetics. To stay on top of the latest advancements in dentistry, she is a member of the American Dental Association and Pennsylvania Dental Association.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Miller’s parents live in Harrisburg, her sister is working on her dissertation in New York, and she is married to a great man named Neri who is a nurse practitioner and former Marine. At home, you’ll often find her playing with her pups (Max the husky and Betty the Goldendoodle), and she and her husband love to hike, go to farmers’ markets, seek out great coffee, and travel. She is a big Phillies and Eagles fan as well. One interesting fact about Dr. Miller is that she studied abroad on a ship while in college and got to circumnavigate the globe!
